The simplest
way to design a Sales Page or Site is to go surfing to sites that
sell information products. It doesn't take long to see which ones get
your attention and make you want to buy. It may sound sever or
underhanded to use the word "Pressure" but that is what
actually sells the product/service. What is even more important is to
use that tactic without seeming to "Pressure" your
prospect. If you don't learn anything else, this is the Gospel of
selling and makes the difference between an empty and full Bank Account!
You can even use
ours as a guide. After all it got you here. <big grin>
I prefer to
call it incentive to encourage a decision to "Buy NOW".
The bottom line is this. If you put something on-line for sale and
put a price on it with no other incentive than the price alone,
"No Sale". Nobody will make a decision to buy anything
unless, 1. they need it, 2. they can't live without it
or 3. they get a bonus or incentive to buy today. The
incentive has to be as valuable to them as the product itself. The
urgency to buy NOW helps them make a decision. Nobody wants to
"Lose Out" on a great value.
Here
are the KEY POINTS to remember.
WANT.
If they don't WANT it, they would not take it if it was Free.
USE
or NEED.
The prospect must have a USE or NEED for your offer. If they
can't use it, or don't need, it has no value to them.
VALUE. The
product/service must have a VALUE greater than the cost to
buy it.
DESIRE.
This is what would give them the emotion to buy. This is part of
impulse selling.
URGENCY.
the most important point of sale after the above are established is
some reason to buy NOW rather than LATER. This is
called "Fear of loss, want of gain. If they don't buy now, they
will lose the opportunity of a great deal.
We have made up a
series of Sales Page (site) templates that you can use to build your
own site. They are all the same layout but different color
backgrounds. This will give you a choice. All you have to do is replace
the existing information with your own. they will look like our main
sales page. You can delete any extra tables you don't need and just
edit them in one of the HTML programs you downloaded. Missed them? Go

Policy. All you have to do on
these pages is to change the company information to yours.
To
download the template packages, create a directory on your hard
drive so you can find them later. Click on the links below to
download. When prompted, select "save to" (this would be
the directory you created).
Now
unzip each file and it will create a folder with each color and the associated
files. To view the colors and decide on your favorite, just double
click on the index.html and it will open in Internet Explorer. After
you decide on your choice, copy the entire folder to your HTML Editor
directory. Don't use the original files. This way you have a fresh
set when you want to build another site.
