OK, so what is FTP?

Transfer Protocol.
Well you asked. :-)
Seriously
though, this is a way to move your Website files from your Puter to
your Hosting Account (server) so the pages can be visited on the Web.
If you have moved any files on your Puter, you should not have any
problem understanding FTP. You can also use FTP for other types of
downloads. Info is available at the program sites.
The
only reason you should purchase an FTP program is if you are
starting your own Hosting Service (becoming
an IP Click Here for Info). One of the programs we offer as

There
are enough free options available that will do all you need to
manage a few sites. Most are self explanatory and easy to use. Or if
you are only moving a few files we have a File Manager included with
your Hosting Account.

FTP
Navigator http://www.softwarea.com/ftp.htm
The
program lets you upload and download data or delete one or more
files, including whole folders along with subdirectories. The
transfer interface window shows what percentage of files has already
been uploaded or downloaded. It can also automatically resume
and complete file transfers, which for some reason, have been
interrupted, or periodically attempt to connect with the FTP server
if the pervious link was unsuccessful.
AceFTP

the easiest Free software available for transferring files over the
Internet. Its cool, uncluttered drag 'n' drop interface designed in a
Windows XP fashion, lets you transfer files quickly and efficiently,
and navigate with ease between folders, and both website and
computer. This robust software has high upload and download speeds,
and enables you to perform multiple file transfers simultaneously.
Simply put, it beats many paid for FTP clients hands down.

can probably find more FTP programs available Free or with 30 Day
Trials. Just put FTP programs into your Google Search Block.
