We decided to
put this information here in the site progression. You don't
really want to worry about doing anything here just yet. Get your
main Niche up and running then you can decide on supplimental income ideas.
The main reason
for this being here is because it may help you with ideas. After
you are comfortable with your first E-Biz you can start building
supplimental income. This, as in all member pages, will always be
here for you.
A Suplimental
Income Source or Stream is simply another facet of your e-Biz to
do what it says. Suppliment your income. You can market Affiliate
programs selling other peoples products, another of your own product
lines, resell rights for your own or other products, a paid Ezine or
a number of things.
The main thing
you want to remember is that you should keep everything about a
supplimental program seperate from your other sales sites except for
advertising it to your mail list. We will cover that in more deatil
in the Ezine section. In short run all of your ventures on
their own sales pages or sites.
This is really
simple to do. You don't have to go out and purchase multiple
Domain Names fior each venture until you have things working well and
$$ coming in.You can run everything off of one hosting account and
one Domain Name. Let me show you how to set this up.
Let's say you
have A Domain Name, mypackages.com.
Every server requires an index.html page to serve to the Internet.
When you type in a domain name, the browser will serch for that
domain name then an index.html (or index.htm).
Like this: http://www.mypackages.com/index.html
You have a choice here. You can work your first sales letter
and program directly in the root of your domain server or Website
account. This could include all the pages you need. Sales page, thank
you page, ezine pages for archiving your ezine copies, a pop-up
subscription page for your Ezine and any other pages you might need
(see Website Information
for more examples).
Now we want to add
a new product or service and it will need a sales letter and all the
necessary other pages. We can now create a new folder on the server
called "Second Product" (or anything you want).
Working with the
directory on the server is about the same as working with files in My
Computer. This is cussed and discussed :-)
in the FTP section. You will learn how to manage and move files from
your Puter to the hosting server.
Inside this folder
will be your pages for the new product/service just like you did for
your main sales section, starting with an index.html (sales page)
then the other necessary pages for this site. The URL or link would
look like this:
http://www.mypackages.com/second
product/index.html
Because
it is in a seperate folder it can have its own index.html page.
Want
a third product? Just make a new folder and add it on your
server. We provide you with all the space you will need to add
as many products as you can promote.
