Now you will need a Website

Now you can say, "I don't have a clue about building Websites".

We just took care of that. We are going to make it easy for you. You can take several approaches and we have all the options for you.

  • You can learn HTML (I didn't think so). <big grin>

  • You can use ready made templates we have created for you.

  • You can learn to use a WYSIWYG editor to create sites or edit templates.

  • You can do all of the above at your pace.

There is nothing hard about building a Website. The hard part is learning how to manage HTML. My suggestion (unless you are already into HTML) is to start with templates and edit them, or the mini site builder and build Sales Page sites.

HINT: I still am not proficient with raw HTML so I use a WYSIWYG Editor to build my sites. Or edit templates with a small WYSIWYG editor. You can still paste Java snipits and code (these are special lines of code that make different things happen when someone clicks a link, enters a new page or some automatic action you want to take place). Example: your subscription form. Java can make the signup and followup work automatically.

You will learn that soon enough. as you work with pages and sites you can look at the Source Code and figure out as much as you need for creating small sites. this site is made up of a master template (I made) then I add what I want using WebExpress. You can get a 30 day trial version HERE and click on "free test drive" at their site. If you like WebExpress let me know and I will tell you how to get "beta version 4" This is a full program and you will have a lot to learn to use all the features. Full price is $69.95.

Here is a Quick Start manual, "Learning WebExpress The Easy Guide", I wrote for learning WebExpress (make sense?). This ebook sells for $17.95 but it is yours as a Member Special Bonus. Download HERE If you are thinking about starting your own Hosting and Website Design E-Biz, WebExpress will be your best choice for creating Websites.

Download Selida which is either raw HTML or WYSIWYG. A pretty simple choice. This is Donationware. If you like it you can make a donation to the developer, and it's easy to use. Download HERE

This is my choice for a low price WYSIWYG editor. Web Weaver EZ Free! Or you can upgrade to the Web Weaver EZ PLUS for just $14.95. The difference is:

  • removes nag screens

  • ability to create Tables

  • ability to create Forms

  • includes DHTML scripts and Javascript effects

  • allows drag-n-drop positioning of HTML elements

  • includes special character code tool

If you have the $14.95 I would just go with the PLUS.
Get the information HERE

Or you can just go to Google and look for "free website editors". Just remember that "FREE" usually comes with a hidden obligation of some kind.

The most important thing you have to learn is how to write sales copy that sells. Any Website sucks unless your information or content makes money. This is why "Simple" is the key. The actual site should be fairly plain and limited on graphics. They are cute but Will Not Make You Money unless they are directly related to your product/service. For example: An e-E-Book cover, your logo and credit card logos. That is why we went to the work to provide you with everything you need to know on this site.

When you get to the section on Creating Sales Pages you will find downloads for Website templates that you can simply edit to fit your needs.
